Job Description:
Assist in navigation watch keeping, deck operations, and general maintenance tasks. Support vessel maneuvering, cargo operations, shipboard safety, and emergency procedures while ensuring compliance with company policies and international maritime regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid STCW certification appropriate to rank (AB or OS).
Valid seafarer medical certificate (e.g., IMO/MLC compliant).
Basic Safety Training (STCW VI/1) completed and up to date.
Proficiency in survival craft and rescue boats (for AB).
Experience in shipboard operations and deck maintenance tasks.
Good understanding of navigational watchkeeping duties.
Physically fit and able to perform demanding manual tasks.
Ability to work at heights and in enclosed spaces.
Familiarity with safety procedures, PPE use, and emergency protocols.
Team-oriented, disciplined, and capable of following instructions.
Basic English communication skills (spoken and written) for safety and operational purposes.
